In 1964 Renault launched the R8 Giordini with 1108 ccm and 86 HP. Its identifying feature was the blue colour with the two white stripes on the driver's side of the car.
The car was ideal for racing, it was successful and inexpensive. Helmut Schwarz, born in Austria, who lives in Portland (USA) and Reinhold Steiner from Dubai bring an original Renault R8 Giordini to the Ennstal-Classic. Built in 1965 this car was successful at the Gaisberg and in Aspern.
