Two interesting cars will be part of this year's Speed-Show:
Thomas Matzelberger and his Austro Vau racecar and Manfred Jurasz/Florian Renauer on Alfa Romeo 2000 GT.
The formula Vau has been an ingenious brandseries with its peak during the 1960s and 1970s.
Essential parts (enginge, gearing mechanism, wheel suspension) had to derive from the VW-Beetle, therefore the new blood had a huge, affordable chance to enter the series.
The protagonists of the series were Jochen Rindt, Helmut Marko, Niki Lauda, Erich Breinsberg, Helmut Koinigg, Werner Riedl, Dieter Quester and Keke Rosberg.
Thomas Matzelberger from Salzburg bring an Austro Vau with 1.3 ltr. capacity and 75 HP like it was built and sold in Salzburg 1968.
Renauer racing in Neunkirchen restored an Alfa 2000 GT Veloce with 165 HP from 1962. Florian Renauer is a successful racer and supported by his dad.
