
Participation Terms
Registration for the Planai-Classic 2026 is open until November 15, 2025. Only complete entries including proof of payment of the entry fee and a vehicle photo will be considered!
Eligible to participate are road-registered vehicles with a date of manufacture before December 31, 1976.
For vehicles built between 1973 and 1976, the organizers reserve the right to apply a selection process. Priority will be given to cars with a documented motorsport history and/or identical models in comparable specifications. Rare sports cars or unique curiosities are also very welcome.
Entry Fee & Services
The entry fee of €2,200 includes:
– Entry for one vehicle (driver and co-driver)
– Start numbers & starter package
– Three evening events including drinks and catering on driving days
– Catering along the route during the event
– Contribution to climate neutrality

ACCOMMODATION
Participants are free to choose and book their accommodation from various categories. Pre-reserved hotels can be found under the menu item “Partner Hotels.” Please note: Accommodation is not included in the entry fee.
ACCOMPANYING PERSONS
After your registration, you will receive a registration form for accompanying persons.
These individuals may attend the evening events with valid accreditation and by paying a nominal fee to cover costs.
LIABILITY
The organizer assumes no liability for personal injury or property damage that may occur during the event.
Drivers are solely responsible for all civil and criminal consequences resulting from their participation.
Road traffic regulations must be observed at all times along the entire route.
CANCELLATION POLICY
In case of cancellation after confirmation of entry, regardless of the reason: Until December 1: 50% of the entry fee will be refunded. Until December 15: 25% of the entry fee will be refunded. After December 15: No refund will be given!
We strongly recommend taking out travel cancellation insurance.
A fixed administrative fee of €75.00 will be deducted from all refunds.
DATA PROTECTION FOR PARTICIPANTS
For the purpose of event organization and promotion, the following information will be published in starter lists, result lists, and the official program book:
- Driver and co-driver names, including nationalities
- Detailed vehicle description with photo
For newsletters and press releases, this data will also be made publicly available.
Photos of the vehicles submitted in advance, as well as photos and videos taken by accredited photographers (e.g. published on our official gallery at Zenfolio), may be used for social media platforms such as Facebook, YouTube, Instagram, Twitter, and for press releases, news updates, brochures, and similar uses.
All photo and video rights are held by Ennstal-Classic GmbH.

CLIMATE NEUTRALITY
Your entry fee includes a contribution towards CO₂ offsetting.
You will receive information after the event about the climate protection project supported by your contribution.
Electronics Regulations
WATCHES & STOPWATCHES
Only mechanical watches/stopwatches/wristwatches with analog display (dial, hands, flyback hand) are permitted.
The following are strictly prohibited:
Radio-controlled watches, even with an analog display; All watches/stopwatches/wristwatches/smartphones with digital displays; Countdown timers with or without acoustic signals
TRIPMETERS
Only purely mechanical tripmeters are allowed (e.g. Halda Tripmaster / Twinmaster / Speedpilot, GTI Rallye-Twin, Hemo Trip counter, Belmog Twin) as well as basic calculators with a single-line display and no memory function.
The following are strictly prohibited:
Electronic devices with LED/LCD displays of any kind; Electronic tripmeters (e.g. Retrotrip) that use signal generators mounted on the speedometer cable, even if they drive a mechanical counter; Programmable or wireless devices connected to the vehicle; Devices receiving input from electronic sensors mounted to wheels, shafts, gearboxes, differentials, etc. (e.g. bicycle computers); Electronic average speed calculators, digital pace note systems (e.g. SW-01), laptops, handhelds, tablets, smartphones, GPS devices, etc.
STUDS, ROPES & CHAINS
Only standard road tires with conventional, street-legal studs (stud projection according to national traffic regulations §5) are permitted.
Tires must have a valid DOT and E-marking. Studded tires must be presented at the rally check and will receive a special marking. Hemp ropes and chains are permitted without restriction.
Participating vehicles must be free of advertising stickers.
