Ennstal-Classic goes BeeWild: Experience Classic Cars and Protect Nature.
Driving classic cars means experiencing history on the road – a unique feeling of nostalgia and adventure. Yet, as we traverse the country’s most beautiful landscapes in shining bodies and roaring engines, each of us also bears a responsibility for the environment that makes these experiences so special.
For this reason, the legendary classic car organizer Ennstal-Classic has joined the BeeWild initiative as a partner, bringing together two passions: the love of classic cars and the preservation of pristine nature.
Who is BeeWild?
BeeWild is an Austrian initiative that has been actively promoting species protection, biodiversity, and sustainable agriculture since 2021. Across Austria, areas are being preserved as bee meadows to restore the endangered habitats of pollinators such as wild bees. Local farmers are supported by BeeWild experts in transitioning to sustainable farming practices and guided towards modern, environmentally friendly agriculture.
That motorsport and species protection are not mutually exclusive is exemplified by BeeWild’s most famous species-protection ambassador – Formula 1 World Champion Sebastian Vettel.
Because the Environment Matters
Following this example, Ennstal-Classic – known as one of Europe’s most beautiful and traditional classic car rallies – is now taking a conscious step towards environmental protection. The goal is to minimize its ecological footprint while giving back to nature. As a proud partner of BeeWild, Ennstal-Classic is committed to protecting bee meadows and supporting projects that contribute to environmental conservation.

Species Protection on 5,000 Square Meters
As part of the partnership, a total of 5,000 square meters of bee meadows will be protected in the name of Ennstal-Classic. The process is guided and supported by BeeWild experts, who use a specially developed seed mix tailored to local conditions, providing countless animal species with vital habitats. One thing is certain: the buzzing and humming must not fall silent!
