Porsche Design Grand-Prix in the best mood

Two Le Mans cars, a Formula 1 bolide and a Cooper Formula Junior once driven by Jochen Rindt. At the wheel: racing legends such as Hans-Joachim Stuck, Richard Lietz, Dieter Quester or Arturo Merzario, stars such as Rudi Roubinek or Richy Müller: the Porsche Design Grand Prix of the Ennstal-Classic 2022 featured a prominent line-up.

After the wonderful presentation of the pioneers of Austrian automobility, who did their demo laps in front of the race cars, the Porsche Design Grand Prix in the center of Gröbming offered one of the traditional highlights of the Ennstal-Classic. In perfect weather and thankfully spared from the forecasted downpour (which already passed overnight), numerous fans at the start ramp and along the entire route enjoyed unfiltered vintage motorsport from days gone by. Also the ears did not miss out in terms of enjoyment, when cars like Strietzel Stuck’s Porsche 956, Rudi Raml’s original Wolf Formula 1 car from 1979 or the brute Ford GT-40 of Michael Schaude give full power in front of the starting ramp, no eye remains dry and no ear blocked.
