The last few years have been quiet around the doyen of local motor journalism, today, Sunday, Helmut Zwickl passed away at home surrounded by his family.
The Ennstal-Classic mourns the loss of its founder and mastermind, but his eternal legacy to the participants will be “driving in the last paradise” and to the fans “motorsport you can touch”.
