For the first time, Alfa Romeo is taking on a central role at the 2026 Ennstal-Classic: the iconic Italian automotive brand is providing the official vehicle fleet for Austria’s most prestigious classic car rally. Leading the field is the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, which will serve as the official lead car and accompany the participants on their approximately 900-kilometre journey through some of Austria’s most beautiful regions.
It is supported by the Tonale, Stelvio and Junior models, which will be used as organisation and support vehicles throughout the event.
The partnership is a perfect fit with the history of the Ennstal-Classic. Alfa Romeo has been one of the most popular marques in the starting field for many years and, with 17 cars, will form the second-largest brand contingent at the 34th edition of the rally. From the elegant Spider to the Giulietta and Giulia, as well as rare GTAm models, the line-up offers an impressive journey through the brand’s rich model history.
Alfa Romeo and the Ennstal-Classic also share a successful sporting past. Both the 2024 and 2025 editions of the Ennstal-Classic were won by an Alfa Romeo, as was the 2026 Planai-Classic. Three overall victories within a short period underline the brand’s strong connection with historic motorsport.
With its current model range, Alfa Romeo is continuing this tradition consistently. The Giulia Quadrifoglio stands for uncompromising driving dynamics, the Tonale and Junior mark the beginning of a new era for the brand, and the Stelvio combines sporting performance with excellent everyday usability. Together, they create a link between Alfa Romeo’s great heritage and its modern interpretation.
While the historic Alfa Romeo cars compete for every hundredth of a second on the special stages, the current model generation leads the field, creating a visible connection between tradition and modernity. This allows participants and spectators alike to experience just how closely the brand’s history is linked to its present.
The 34th Ennstal-Classic will take place from 22 to 25 July 2026. Around 180 historic automobiles from 18 nations will take to some of Austria’s most beautiful roads, combining the fascination of classic cars with modern automotive engineering.
