Our Climate Contribution
They can be regarded as cultural assets – and their preservation as an aspect of sustainability: classic cars are far more than just old vehicles. They are witnesses of technological progress and craftsmanship. Driving them on special occasions, with care and respect, offers a unique kind of pleasure – one that expresses a deep appreciation for history and tradition.
Appreciation for classic automobiles and responsibility for the climate are not contradictions. This is reflected in the guiding motto of the event: “Driving in the last paradise.”
The freedom to drive through nature’s paradise also carries an obligation – to help preserve it.
For the organizers, Michael Glöckner and Helmut Zwickl, sustainable action has always been a heartfelt concern. From the very beginning, the Ennstal-Classic has been designed with a focus on environmental awareness and resource conservation.
Since 2021, part of the entry fees has been directed toward climate protection and compensation projects, further reducing the ecological footprint of the event.
