The starting field of the Planai-Classic 2026 continues to grow – and with each new entry, it becomes increasingly clear what an exceptional blend of historic rarities and motorsport history the participants will be bringing to the Schladming-Dachstein region.

A true gem among the pre-war vehicles is the 1924 Bentley 3 4½ Litre Red Label Speed Model, driven by Shaun Harborne from Great Britain. The legendary “Speed Model” is considered an icon of British engineering – robust, fast, and unmistakably full of character. As early as the 1920s, this Bentley was synonymous with endurance performance and reliability, famed for its victories at Le Mans and as the embodiment of the “Bentley Boy” spirit.
Another highlight comes from Michael Stoschek, who will be competing in a 1965 Porsche 911 – the very car with which he won the legendary Carrera Panamericana several times. This vehicle combines motorsport history with pure driving culture and perfectly embodies the philosophy of the Planai-Classic: historical authenticity, technical perfection, and a true passion for driving.

Also traveling from Great Britain are John Dickson and Myles Castaldini, who will be driving a 1976 Lancia Beta Montecarlo, a former race car. The Montecarlo is a prime example of Italian motorsport engineering from the 1970s and adds an extra touch of international flair to the starting field.
As a result, the 29th Planai-Classic once again promises an exceptional showcase of automotive heritage – from elegant 1920s racers to sporty icons of the seventies.
Anyone who would like to be part of this special winter adventure still has the opportunity to register until November 15, 2025.
